The PL-2 design is being certificated as a primary training aircraft by the Argentine Air Force and it will be entirely built by students at the National College of Technical Education in El Palomar, Buenos Aires.  This story was featured by EAA in October, 2014, in an article titled “Homebuilders Hall of Famer’s Design to Be Certificated in Argentina.”

PL-4A was built by students in 1986 in 170 days, 1,500 man hours. It was airborne that same year from El Polomar Airport.

PL-2 was built from 1987-1988 in 295 days, 3,000 man hours. First flight took place in August 1988 from El Palomar Airport.
